The ICO closed its ADM consultation on 29 May 2026 having found most UK organisations non-compliant with the meaningful human involvement standard under Articles 22A–22D of the UK GDPR as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. A statutory code of practice is forthcoming. The 19 June 2026 complaints mechanism deadline has already passed.
